A catalog of typical and authentic specimens of vascular plants stored in the Herbarium of the Federal Scientific Center for Biodiversity of Terrestrial Biota of East Asia, Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (VLA) is published. The article contains information about the main stages of the formation of the collection, which includes typical examples of the names of 453 taxa of vascular plants from 48 families and 146 genera, described overwhelmingly from the territory of the Russian Far East and represented by 1410 specimens. For each taxon, the Latin name with a nomenclatural quotation, type category, number of herbarium sheets with corresponding bar codes, label text, quotation from the protologue, and necessary notes are given.
