Year: 2024, Issue: LXXII, Pages: 8 - 70

The unique refugium of forest-steppe and steppe species has been identified in the Eastern Khanka region in the vicinity of the village Malyye Klyuchi in Spassky District of Primorye Territory. Among the rare plants of Primorye, we note the species found here: Armeniaca sibirica, Cleistogenes kitagawae, Carex obtusata, Cotoneaster melanocarpus, Euphorbia leoncroizatii, Gueldenstaedtia verna, Lespedeza davurica, Polygala sibirica, Polygala tenuifolia, Schizonepeta multifida, Stipa baicalensis. These and a number of other species have an intermittent distribution in the Primorye Territory; their locations here are quite far removed from locations in other regions of Primorye; some species were not known in the Spassky District. A new location of Wutaishanian oak (Quercus wutaishanica) has been identified. The rare plant communities for Primorye are described in this article (groves of Quercus wutaishanica and Ulmus macrocarpa, shrub-grass cenoses with the participation of Armeniaca sibirica, Ulmus macrocarpa and Rosa gracilipes, grass communities with Stipa baicalensis).
