Vascular plants of the «Taiozhny» Natural Reserve (Central Kamchatka)

In this paper we give annotated list of 253 vascular plant species found within the State Regional Natural Reserve «Taiozhny» and its surroundings. The Reserve is located in the central part of the Kamchatka Peninsula and occupies a part of eastern macroslope of the Sredinny Ridge from its highlands to foot. This area is regarded as one of regional centers for species conservation and distribution (refugia) in the past. Herein, a number of relic and rare plant species was found. Further researches within this area may lead to new plant findings what is important for study and preserve Kamchatka’ biodiversity.
