Изучение ископаемых насекомых отряда сетчатокрылых средне-мелового янтаря Мьянмы и эоцена Европы и Северной Америки

В результате изучения насекомых отряда сетчатокрылых (Neuroptera) из средне-мелового янтаря Мьянмы и эоцена Европы и Северной Америки описаны новые для науки 4 рода и 7 видов из семейств Mantispidae, Berothidae, Chrysopidae и Polystoechotidae. Два новых эоценовых рода Mantispidae из Дании – первые кайнозойские Drepanicinae. Новый род Symphrasinae (Mantispidae) из янтаря Мьянмы внешне очень сходен с Rhachiberothidae, что позволяет говорить о родстве этих таксонов. Все это позволяет лучше понять эволюционные процессы, происходившие у насекомых в мелу и эоцене. Переописан юрский Kalligramma haeckeli – вид, который размером и внешне похож на крупных дневных бабочек; это позволило изменить классификацию семейства Kalligrammatidae.
