Studies of chromosome numbers of plants from the south of the Soviet Far East

The paper emberaces investigation results of chromosome numbers of 152 species of the Far Eastern plants belonging to 72 genera of 32 families. For the first time chromosome numbers аге determined for 59 species. Investigated chromosome numbers of Sedum aizoon, Filipendula koreana, Sanguisorba tenuifolia and Rhododendron aureum differ from the data known from literary sources. Kariological investigation results of major importance concerning some species of Thymus, Aconitum and representatives of Pinaceae and Cupressaceae families are discussed.
