New material on the genera Elbenia Stål and Phaulula Bol. (Phaneropterinae: Holochlorini) is reviewed. The species composition of the latter genus is discussed. Eight new taxa from Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines are described: Sulapteron subgen. n. in the genus Elbenia s. l.; E. (S.) kendariensis sp. n.; E.
