Two new cave dwelling species of the ant genus Brachyponera Emery, 1900 (Hymenoptera: Formicidae, Ponerinae) from Thailand

Two new species, Brachyponera kumtongi Duanchay et Jaitrong, sp. n. and Brachyponera troglomorpha Duanchay et Jaitrong, sp. n., are described based on the worker caste from northern Thailand. These species were collected from caves in both twilight and dark zones. A key to the five Thai species based on the worker caste is provided.
