Arthropod-vectors of phytoviruses in the Russian Far East: a review
Number: 510, Pages: 23 - 32
This review presents the species diversity of arthropods-phytophages identified in the Russian Far East and capable of acting as vectors of phytoviruses. The most important taxon of these vectors is the order Hemiptera, especially the family Aphididae, whose representatives are able to transmit most of the identified phytoviruses. Viruses and their vectors are associated with host plant species cultivated in the Russian Far East: potatoes, soybeans, vegetables, and cereals.
