Nipponodipogon gusenleitnerorum Loktionov et Lelej sp. n. is described and illustrated from Northern Laos (Phongsaly Province). The genus Nippono­dipo­gon Ishikawa, 1965 and N. shimizui Loktionov, Lelej et Xu, 2017 are newly recorded from Laos.
